First, my question to you is, "Who are you?" I want you to think about how you identify yourself and if you are struggling with these questions, let's allow scripture to define our identity and tell us why and what! Let's get started!
Many of us spend years searching for purpose in careers, relationships, achievements, possessions, or the approval of others—only to discover that none of them truly satisfy the longing within our hearts.
God never intended for the world to define your purpose. Before you took your first breath, He already knew you. When He formed you in your mother's womb, He placed within you unique gifts, talents, and a calling that were never meant to build your kingdom—but His.
The world asks, "What do you want to become?"
God asks, "Will you become who I created you to be?"
That is a very different question.
Your purpose is not something you invent—it is something you discover through a relationship with the One who created you. As you seek Him through His Word, prayer, and obedience, He begins to shape your heart to reflect His. He opens doors, closes others, prunes what doesn't belong, and faithfully leads you into the good works He prepared long before you were born.
So today, I want to challenge you:
Have you been asking God to bless your plans, or have you surrendered your plans so He can reveal His?
Jesus gave us the starting point:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
— Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
God told Jeremiah:
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..."
— Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)
David declared:
"For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb... Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed."
— Psalm 139:13–16 (NKJV)
And Paul reminds us:
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
— Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
You were not created by accident.
You were created by Him, through Him, and for Him.
Stop letting the world tell you who you are.
Draw near to the One who created you, and let Him reveal why He created you.
Heavenly Father, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Thank You for creating each of us with purpose and intention. Before we ever took our first breath, You knew us, loved us, and prepared a path for us to walk. Forgive us for the times we have searched for purpose in the things of this world instead of seeking You first.
Open our hearts to Your will. Remove every distraction, fear, and false identity that keeps us from becoming who You created us to be. Help us to trust Your plans above our own and to walk faithfully wherever You lead.
Teach us to delight in Your presence, to hunger for Your Word, and to surrender our lives completely to You. May our gifts, talents, and every opportunity You give us be used to glorify Your name and build Your Kingdom.
Lord, let our lives reflect Christ so that others may see Your love, truth, and grace through us. May we never settle for the world's definition of success when You have called us to something eternal.
We place our lives into Your hands today. Lead us, shape us, and accomplish Your purpose through us—for Your glory alone.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ we pray,
Amen.
If you have not been saved or if you are unsure if you are saved, take my hand and walk with me towards and into the Eternal Kingdom...
John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

"Heavenly Father, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
"I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Today I turn to You, placing my trust in Jesus Christ alone for my salvation."
"Forgive me, make me new, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow You, love You, and live according to Your Word each day."
"Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ my Lord."
"In Jesus' name, Amen."
One of the greatest gifts God gives us is assurance. Our confidence is not in how well we perform, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ and God's promises to everyone who believes.
John 3:16 (NKJV)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 5:24 (NKJV)
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life."
John 6:47 (NKJV)
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life."
Romans 10:9–10 (NKJV)
"...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

"For 'whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.'"

"For by grace you have been saved through faith... not of works, lest anyone should boast."

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us..."
Acts 16:30–31 (NKJV)
"'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved...'"
1 John 5:11–13 (NKJV)
"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son... These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life."
Romans 8:1 (NKJV)
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus..."
Romans 8:38–39 (NKJV)
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life... nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
John 10:27–29 (NKJV)
"My sheep hear My voice... and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand."
If you have truly repented and placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone, you do not have to wonder whether God has accepted you. He has promised eternal life to everyone who believes in His Son. Your assurance rests on His faithfulness, not your feelings.
"He who has the Son has life." — 1 John 5:12 (NKJV)
May your confidence always be in Christ's finished work on the cross, for
"it is finished" John 19:30, and His promises never fail.
