Professional Equipment

My professional photography journey began in 2011 with an entry-level professional camera. In 2018, I upgraded to the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and continued expanding my collection of professional lenses, lighting, and other specialized equipment.

Each lens and tool is thoughtfully selected to help me create the desired look, feeling, and artistic character of an image. Natural light is often my favorite because of its beautiful, authentic quality. However, when natural light is limited or less than ideal, my knowledge of lighting allows me to shape and control it—creating beautiful, professional imagery in a variety of settings and conditions.

Editing & Style

I personally edit my own images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop among other software.

Depending on the creative vision, I may refine the lighting, color, contrast, composition, and detail while maintaining a natural photographic appearance—or transform the image with painterly textures and artistic effects to create a distinctive work of art.

These professional programs include AI-assisted tools that complement the traditional editing process. I may also use generative AI more extensively when transforming my original photography into creative memes, imaginative designs, and other artistic works. When AI plays a significant role in the finished creation, I believe in being transparent about its use.

Technology may assist the creative process, but the original photography, artistic direction, editing decisions, and final vision remain my own.
