My Story

My artistic journey began in childhood with a fascination for taking pictures using a film camera in the late 1970s and early 1980s. But it wasn’t until 2011 that I truly recognized the talents and gifts God had given me and began pursuing the arts with purpose and passion.

As a pet and equine photographer, I understand the deep connections we share with the animals in our lives. They are more than companions—they become part of our families, our memories, and our personal stories. My goal is to capture their unique spirit, personality, and beauty in authentic expressive images that can be treasured for years to come. Much of that understanding comes from my own life experiences with animals and the profound role they have played in shaping my journey.

One milestone in that journey was fulfilling a lifelong dream—owning my very own horse. I had dreamed of having a horse even before I was born. That dream finally came true in my late 20s on April 1, 2004, when I welcomed home a seven-year-old Spotted Saddle Horse named Sudden Snow, purchased from a dear childhood friend. Sudden Snow is a miracle horse and has truly been a miracle in my life. Over the years, she has been part of an incredible journey that helped lead me to Christ. You can visit her Facebook Fan Page at Facebook.com/SuddenSnow. She turned 29 years old in February 2026!

Cats have also played a central role in my life. I was born into a family that loved Siamese cats, and there has only been one year of my life without one. Losing my beloved Lilac Point Siamese in 2023 was incredibly difficult, but exactly one year later, in August 2024, we unexpectedly rescued a Siamese from our local shelter. This new cat, Kit Kat, was unlike any cat I have ever owned—grumpy, not a fan of snuggles or laps, and only sometimes purring. It has taken time for him to come around, but this experience taught me a huge lesson. Sometimes our animals can become idols, and through Jesus, Kit Kat reminded me to turn toward Christ for comfort rather than relying on a pet. I believe Jesus uses His creations to point us back to Him, and through Kit Kat, I was reminded of His faithful love and guidance.

Though I don’t currently have a dog, my love for dogs began when I was three years old with my first dog, a white toy poodle named Midget. Throughout my childhood and young adult years, we shared our lives with many wonderful dogs. If I were to have one today, it would absolutely be a Doberman.

I truly believe God speaks to us through all His creation, especially animals. When He gave them to our care, He also gave us another expression of His love. The incredible bond we feel with our pets points us back to our Creator. When human love feels distant, the comfort and devotion of an animal can reach our hearts in ways no person can. Their love reflects the faithful love of our Savior and King, Jesus Christ.

Today, I look forward to serving my community through my artistic expression and photography. My hope is that the work I create not only preserves meaningful moments but also reflects the beauty of God’s creation and the special bonds we share with the animals in our lives. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. Your support means much, and I’m grateful for every person who is touched and connects with my work. God Bless You All!

"It was January of 2011 when I created 'Moonlight Sonata' by accident while editing that my passion for artistic photography came to life and exploded with new ideas, creative visions, and artworks.

I've realized over the years that my love for Christ and all of God's creations (especially horses), has created an opportunity that allows me to be creative and express my love through the arts and inspire others.

Moonlight Sonata has always been a reflection of inner peace, and just in the last few years it has become a reminder of Hope & Faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ that; Soon, HE shall make his return riding on a White Horse.
