Although this is my photography website and what I do to earn an income, it is not the most important part of who I am nor the only thing I do.
Since 2011, artistic photography is simply one of the gifts God has entrusted to me. It allows me to provide for my family, create meaningful artwork, encourage others, and capture the beauty of His creation. While I am grateful for my work, it is not my identity and it is not the most important.
God comes first—before anyone and anything else. He is the source of life, purpose, wisdom, strength, and love. Everything else finds its proper place when Christ remains at the center.
Seeking the Kingdom begins with seeking the truth. It means spending time in God's Word, growing in understanding, and allowing His truth to guide our lives. It means seeing a need and doing something about it. It means using our gifts, talents, experiences, and resources to be a blessing to those God places in our path.
Before pursuing our own desires, goals, income, possessions, or ambitions, we are called to seek Him first. Jesus said,
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." — Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
"Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it..." —Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock." —Matthew 7:24 (NKJV)
"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." —Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV)
"Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion." —Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NKJV)
Family is one of God's greatest gifts and one of our greatest responsibilities.
Strong families are not built by accident. Like a house built upon a rock, they require a solid foundation, continual care, and intentional effort.
Family means:
• Building a strong foundation based on truth, trust, and love.
• Maintaining communication through every season of life.
• Navigating challenges together rather than walking through them alone.
• Being present and not neglecting the relationships God has entrusted to us.
• Meeting one another's needs through encouragement, support, patience, and understanding.
• Pruning unhealthy habits and allowing room for growth.
• Celebrating victories, carrying burdens, and extending grace when mistakes are made.
Healthy relationships require time, attention, and care. Whether family by blood or family by choice, we are called to love, nurture, encourage, and support one another as we walk through life together.
"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." — 1 Timothy 5:8 (NKJV)
Work is very important; however, for me, not more important than God or Family. Work is a priority but was never meant to be the most important. If we believe and trust in the one who created us, then he will surely give us the desires of our hearts.
My lifelong goal is to reign with Jesus in His Eternal Kingdom. We must be willing to separate ourselves from the world and live how he intended from creation. The truth was given through His Word, we just have to be willing to accept Him, Believe in his finished work on the cross and trust Him when he said he's preparing a place for us.
When we seek His Kingdom first, everything else finds its proper place. This is why I founded and personally sponsor Christ Centered Community of Cherokee County, GA.
A community formed from a simple desire: "To make sure no woman walks alone in her faith journey."
The Kingdom is not built through words alone. It is built through love in action. It is serving, encouraging, helping, listening, praying, and caring internally so that we are equipped for those God places in our path. God does not ask us to abandon our responsibilities; He asks us to put Him first.
